McQueen’s Finale

September 20, 2010

The Final Collection from McQueen made it to NYC at the beginning of fashion week. It comes across as very regal or a warrior going into her last battle. The simple yet strong head-dress is certainly an omage to this.  It is a strong note to go out on and I can’t wait to see more photos of these designs. The shape must have taken a long time to accomplish along with the embroidered details it is simply beautiful and a true work of art. I say art because let’s be truthful only certain people can wear this, ala Gaga, but from a museum perspective it is gorgeous and for those girls who do get to wear these designs they should feel lucky because they are wearing something from a man who will be considered a legend for his art by many.

RIP McQueen

When I read a good blog post I do three things:1.Forward it to my relevant contacts.2.save it in all my popular sharing sites.3.Make sure to return to the same website where I read the article. After reading this article I am really concidering going ahead and doing all of the above!
